More than just climate change information, Think Globally, Act Locally: The State of the Climate, is a gathering designed so attendees leave feeling energized, supported, imbued with purpose, and connected to their community.

Environmental scientist, Dana Nuccitelli, will provide an engaging presentation regarding climate change, its consequences, and possible solutions. Nuccitelli is an alumnus of UCB and UCD and has published numerous peer-reviewed papers related to climate change. He has written about climate science for SkepticalScience.com since 2010, for the Guardian since 2013 and for Yale Climate Connections since 2018.

Following the presentation, a panel featuring Nuccitelli and local climate activists and policy makers will respond to questions and comments from the audience. The key theme will be how we, individually and together, can create a community that inspires, facilitates and celebrates actions that reduce greenhouse gasses.

Youth leaders will host the evening. Don’t miss this chance to listen, learn, give input, and meet fellow concerned community members. Do upcoming generations proud, and remember, the world is run by those who show up.
